How do I sign up?
On the event page, click on "Register."
A confirmation email will be sent shortly after. If you did not receive your confirmation email, check your spam folder. If it's not there either, email us at info@santadash5k.com We'll be happy to assist you!
What does my registration include?
For those who purchased a registration, you will get a race t-shirt, a race bib, and a customized 2020 finisher’s medal. Participants are encouraged to add to the Santa swag by including accessories such as tutus, antlers, scarves, smart gloves, beanies, jingle bells, and more!
Where, when, and how do I get my Registration Packet?
Typically, the registration packet is the day of the event 8-9 AM. All you'll need to bring is your ticket confirmation email, either printed out or shown on your mobile device.
Can someone else pick up my Registration Packet?
Yes! You can send a friend with your ticket confirmation to pick up your registration packet for you.
Where is the location?
Arrive at Terry Hershey Parking on Memorial (MAP). After you park, check-in at the gazebo. We'll be running on the Cardinal trail. (Interactive Map)
Can my friends and family join me at the Santa Dash?
Absolutely! The Santa Dash is a family fun event, so your friends and family can cheer you on and take pictures while you're running the 5K. After you cross the finish line, they can join you in all the fun at the Santa Bash with music and dance!
Will there be photographers at the event? And how do I get my picture(s)?
We will occasionally have professional and volunteer photographers at our events. Directions on how to get your pictures will be posted on our Facebook event page and on the website gallery when available.
Often times, the photographers at our events come from media partners, newspapers, etc. In those cases, we regret that we typically do not have access to those photos.
How Long Is The Race?
Each course varies between 1 mile and a full 5K.
Is there an age limit?
There's no age limit at the Santa Dash! Our events are family-friendly, and children of any age can participate! We have prizes for kids from infants to age 10.
Can I run with a stroller?
Yes, you can! We just ask that anyone running with strollers start in the back of the race for safety reasons.
Can I Walk?
Absolutely! You can walk, run, crawl, skip, or dance your way to the finish. This race is about getting you outdoors and active while having the time of your life!
But there isn't any rule against keeping your own time!
Are pets allowed?
Nope, sorry. Our races are pet-free. We love our furry friends, but they have to stay at home. It's just to ensure everyone's safety!
Can I volunteer for the race?
We would love for you to volunteer for our race! You can see all of our volunteer shifts and
descriptions at www.santadash5k.com/volunteer. If you are signing up a group to volunteer, do not use the comment box to tell us how many people are in your group. Each member's information must be entered separately to be assigned to a volunteer shift. If you have questions about volunteering or registering a group, email us at info@santadash5k.com
Do I get a refund?
Can't make the race? Are you crazy? It's way too much fun to miss out on!
Unfortunately, we are unable to process refunds. When you sign up you agree to our NO REFUND policy. The planning and logistics required for putting on the event make it impossible. We do our best to keep the original date and location; if you can't make it on Race Day, feel free to come to pick up your Registration Packet and say hi! For a small fee, we can also ship you your packet. Email us at info@santadash5k.com if you would like your packet shipped to you.
Can I transfer my ticket?
Yes, you may transfer your ticket(s) to another person. In order to transfer your ticket(s), email us at info@santadash5k.com letting us know your name, email address, and phone number. Also, please include the full name, email address, and phone number of the person you're transferring your ticket to. We'll take care of the rest. Please know, your ticket must be used this season, all tickets are null and void after this year.
What if I just want a t-shirt?
Guess what? Our t-shirts, hats, and other Santa swag are all available for independent purchase on our website. Just visit our store tab and start your holiday spending off right. The best part is, when you shop with us, a percentage of all sales and registration fees will be donated to support Toys-4-Tots this year. So shop till you drop for great cause!
